On Foundations and Fundamentals

Hey there rope friends! 😀

The Holidays are upon us so I felt like doing something a little extra: Those of you who managed to join our first batches of events shared stories which are all too relatable. Taking your first steps on your rope journey can be difficult if you’re figuring things out on your own.

So I designed four (4) programs based on everything I’ve studied so far to help people out.

Performance anxiety sucks and nobody enjoys fumbling/feeling like you need to apologize when we forget the pattern or tie too slowly. Flow helps your bondage look effortless, turns your tying fails into wins, and frees you from being dependent on patterns.

Wraps that get so tight that your partners end up numb, or those that keep sliding around and pose risks from shearing forces—they’re no fun and emergencies cut our play time short. Form works on helping you find the Goldilocks-level tension that’s right for your partner while still being beautiful, safe, and secure.

You’re not the only one who’s felt stuck with “standard” positions or disappointed that some of the most popular ties don’t work with your flexibility/physical concerns. Function invites you to take a closer look at how our bodies work and how we can both respect and celebrate what makes our shapes unique—making the rope adapt to us, not the other way around.

It’s stressful to design your sessions without a guide and just guess what will satisfy your partner best. Fluency gives you a time tested structure for designing your sessions, and helps you tap into the different ways we convey our desires to each other, be it through words or body language, so that our bondage can explore more than just the physical dimension of tying.

Our two intro classes plus the above then gives us:

  1. Intro to BDSM
  2. Intro to Shibari
  3. Flow: How to Tie with Finesse & Fluidity
  4. Form: How to Tame and Troubleshoot Tension
  5. Function: How to Play with Bodies in Bondage
  6. Fluency: How to Touch Hearts and Tell Stories

Together, these are like the pillars that support the bondage play I personally do. They’re not the single, definitively correct way of doing things, but they’re the ones that worked for me and my partners—which I hope to share with those who have seen and like my approach. 🙂

I call this series Foundation. And each dive is a no-nonsense, practical, and immediately actionable guide to prepare you for your rope journey, by sharing with you the blended understanding of everything I’ve studied so far. I’ll introduce new tools, techniques, and lessons—and we’ll have weekly accountability sessions to monitor your practice and progress too, so that any issues you’re facing will be solved before your next session.

By booking these as a private class with 4 hours each, all six courses would amount to a Php 60,000 intensive coaching program running for 6 weeks.

Today however, I’m making it available for free as my gift to the one winner of our latest Holiday Giveaway, who can claim it as a 1-on-1 coaching session with their partner, or as a group coaching session with up to 4 pairs (switches totally welcome!).

Advanced happy holidays, my friends! 😀 I hope you’ll enjoy it.
