Kokoro Studio is a dedicated kinbaku studio in Hong Kong run by Subay (not to be confused with Studio Kokoro in the UK). Their course “covers the techniques, theories, logics and application of shibari beyond merely showing the pattern of the ties”—emphasizing their “deeply entrenched value that Shibari is not only about the katachi (form), but also the kokoro (heart and spirit)”.

ShibariClasses.com is run by Bruce Esinem & Nina Russ—who have studied under various notable Japanese masters. Their online classes combines their 20+ years of experience to teach basics all the way up to suspensions. They teach via an ingredients-based approach, emphasizing how Shibari is about “tying people not parcels”.

ShibariStudy.com is taught by Gorgone and other respected Shibari instructors: Gestalta, Fuoco, Hajime Kinoko, Fred Hatt & Anna Bones, Tamandua, and Lecia. Studio Kink is a Sydney-based educational cooperative formed by MarkAleni and Lani De ViateNawarei, Cypher and Precipice. Their online courses are part of a comprehensive series of classes suitable for Shibari newbies to more intermediate practitioners. This includes an intro to Shibari, their Studio Kink style gote shibari, plus their signature DV8 hishi TK.

Studio Kokoro is a kinbaku studio in the UK co-owned by WykD Dave and Clover (not to be confused with Kokoro Studio in Hong Kong). With the support of their friends KamanthAlexahamartiaGod-Dan-It–Jason– and Calluna, they partner with respected kinbaku teachers and host virtual streaming & video classes on topics like semenawa, surrendering in rope, and more.

RopuNawa (FL: @RopuNawa) who runs TyingWithFriends.com at his rope dojo in Basel, Switzerland, recently released a series of instructional videos on his style of bondage suitable for rope players with higher risk profiles. His lessons employ only one piece of rope and sheds light on topics such as body manipulation, pressure points, playing with the neck/erotic asphyxia, and more.
